President's Message

Welcome to Berkshire Community College. This year community colleges are celebrating their 100th anniversary. In the history of higher education, we are a young institution. Yet, we are rich in a history of accessibility, academic excellence, support for personal growth, and community involvement. I encourage you to become part of this history.

The information provided in these pages is your start. Then, it is up to you to take advantage of all we have to offer. Most importantly, take advantage of the opportunity to get to know your faculty on an individual basis. Many of them are BCC graduates!

Find the bachelor's degree program or career that's right for you by visiting the Student Development Center. Make friends with a student from another country. Join a club. Access the research holdings of universities around the world in our library. Work out in our field house. Bring your family to a performance of the BCC Players, or a ballet or opera, in our theatre.

I promise that, with your active participation, BCC will be a rewarding chapter in your personal history.
