Subject Guide

The purpose of a subject research guide is to provide students with a brief list of library resources pertinent to a particular area of study. Reference sources and works in the Circulating Collection are given along with their Call Number, so that you can locate them easily.

Periodical Index Databases listed are our most popular. To see a full roster of our databases, go to our database page.

Internet Web Sites have been chosen by our library staff, and most are educational or organizational sites. There are some appropriate commercial sites included here also. Be aware that all materials, print and non-print, including all web sites should be evaluated for usefulness. Evaluation criteria should include the accuracy, authority, objectivity currency and coverage of the document.
